Acting on encouragement from Supervisor Michael Antonovich\u2019s office, park partners Altadena Heritage and Amigos de los Rios applied for and received Prop A (Los Angeles County Regional Park and Open Space District) funding to improve the little park behind El Patron Restaurant on the southwest corner of Lake Avenue and Altadena Drive.<\/p>\n

We\u2019re now ready to break ground, and invite you to learn about these changes \u2014 and how you can get involved. Supervisor Antonovich and leaders from both organizations will share plans for the park, which include celebrating local history with new signage, and the addition of landscaping features to help prevent water run-off.<\/p>\n

Join us for cake and coffee Saturday, October 22, at 9 am!<\/p>\n
