What can Altadena learn?<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][et_pb_row _builder_version=&#8221;3.25&#8243; background_size=&#8221;initial&#8221; background_position=&#8221;top_left&#8221; background_repeat=&#8221;repeat&#8221; column_structure=&#8221;1_2,1_2&#8243;][et_pb_column type=&#8221;1_2&#8243; _builder_version=&#8221;3.25&#8243; custom_padding=&#8221;|||&#8221; custom_padding__hover=&#8221;|||&#8221;][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;3.27.4&#8243;]<\/p>\n<h4>Our panel<\/h4>\n<p><strong>Eileen Alduenda<\/strong>, a landscape architect with vast experience in public projects in the Los Angeles area also served on Altadena Heritage\u2019s board and <em>Lake Avenue Subcommittee <\/em>(2010-12). She will share examples of how complete street makeovers nearby and far afield have fared, with an emphasis on water.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Justin Robertson<\/strong> is a city planner with LA County\u2019s Department of Health who previously worked with the City of Glendale. Justin conducted a walkability study of Altadena for his masters thesis, and serves on our Town Council. He will talk about walkability\u2019s role in complete streets.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Thomas Stahl<\/strong>, architect with international experience in planning, headed Altadena Heritage\u2019s <em>Lake Avenue Subcommittee<\/em> (2010-12) and served on our board. He will update our report \u2014 The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly \u2014 and review what has changed, what has not, and progress in nurturing a \u201ccivic core\u201d in Altadena.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=&#8221;1_2&#8243; _builder_version=&#8221;3.25&#8243; custom_padding=&#8221;|||&#8221; custom_padding__hover=&#8221;|||&#8221;][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;3.27.4&#8243;]<\/p>\n<h4>Moderators<\/h4>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/altadenaheritage.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/third-thursday-icon.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2881 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/altadenaheritage.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/third-thursday-icon.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"254\" height=\"166\" \/><\/a>Current members of Altadena Heritage\u2019s <em>Complete Street Committee<\/em> Anne Chomyn (chair), Mark Goldschmidt, and Michele Zack will moderate and conduct the intersection redesign exercise.
