This is the second of three Saturday morning Tree Workshops.<\/p>\n

Dr. Jerrold Turney\u00a0teaches us the right way to prune trees and care for our trees. Pruning your tree properly can promote the tree\u2019s health, make it resistant to diseases, and stimulate structurally secure branching. Training a\u00a0young<\/em>\u00a0tree with the correct pruning cuts is especially important as this will help your tree grow into an attractive mature specimen that is less prone to failure. Your\u00a0tree may even live longer.<\/p>\n

Dr. Turney also tells us how to care for our new trees to get them off to a great start and how to care for our mature trees.
